Framework as Methodological Architecture

Coherence, Rigor, and Knowledge-Building in Qualitative Inquiry

By Paul Arthur Osaroejii

Published by Axiom Preventive Health Systems, LLC · October 18, 2026

About the Book

Many qualitative studies fail before data collection begins. The problem is named, the questions are written, the design is chosen, and yet the parts do not belong together. The framework is announced in the literature review, disappears from the methodology, and returns, weakened, in the discussion. The study looks complete and remains methodologically unstable.

Framework as Methodological Architecture treats that failure as its subject. Paul Arthur Osaroejii argues that a framework is not a decorative section of a dissertation or a journal article. It is the scholarly architecture that makes a study intelligible, the visible logic that connects phenomenon to question, question to design, design to evidence, evidence to interpretation, and interpretation to contribution. When that logic is present and stated plainly, a study becomes more transparent, more trustworthy, more teachable, and more reviewable. When it is absent, no amount of rich data repairs it.

Across 24 chapters in six parts, the book builds framework literacy step by step. Part I sets the foundations, including the distinctions among theory, concept, paradigm, and method. Part II works through alignment across design, covering problem statements, research questions, design selection, and sampling, with information power treated as a working judgment rather than a slogan. Part III turns to analysis, interpretation, and claim discipline, differentiating thematic, content, framework, and abductive analysis, and treating trustworthiness as evidence offered for claims. Part IV brings frameworks into applied and health services research, including equity and context, mixed-methods integration, and named implementation frameworks. Part V addresses the teaching, supervision, and reviewing of framework-driven research. Part VI closes the argument with tools, matrices, and audit practices, the Framework Alignment Architecture Model, and a conclusion that gathers the whole book into its shortest complete form.

The model at the center of the book orders nine components into one chain of reasoning, phenomenon specification, framework selection, question derivation, design alignment, sampling and data generation, analytic movement, interpretation, claim discipline, and contribution. Two instruments keep the chain honest. The five alignment questions are asked at every link, and the alignment matrix records each commitment and the evidence for it, so that alignment can be audited rather than merely asserted. Every chapter closes with an alignment matrix specific to its own subject. Appendix A provides a framework alignment worksheet of 15 prompts for study design, supervision, and the classroom. Appendix B provides a dissertation and manuscript review rubric of 20 criteria for committees, reviewers, and instructors. Its reference list runs to 144 works, every one cited in the text.

The book is written for doctoral students and candidates, dissertation supervisors and committee members, journal reviewers, qualitative and health services researchers, and instructors of graduate research methods. It asks one disciplined thing of its readers, that every methodological decision in a study be traceable to a defensible framework logic, stated plainly enough for a reader to check.

Paul Arthur Osaroejii is a health services researcher and a PhD candidate in Health Services at Walden University, where his dissertation research applies the alignment principles developed in this book. He holds a Master of Health Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration, and his methodological perspective was formed across more than twelve years in medical claims and health insurance operations. He is the founder of Axiom Preventive Health Systems, LLC, and the author of The Preventive Care Ecosystem (2026).

The Primary Healthcare Delivery Compact

Rebuilding Nigerian Healthcare Through Accountable Delivery, Equity, Local Capability, and Technology Transfer

By Paul Arthur Osaroejii

Published by Axiom Preventive Health Systems, LLC · October 18, 2026

About the Book

Nigeria's primary healthcare system is not only underfunded; it is under-delivered. Budgets are approved, policies are announced, and commodities are procured, yet at the ward health center where care either happens or does not, the chain between promise and verified care breaks down. The Primary Healthcare Delivery Compact names that breakdown precisely, and rebuilds delivery as an accountable operating system for primary care.

Drawing on the Consolidated Framework for Implementation Research (CFIR) and on Nigeria's own evidence base, including the National Demographic and Health Survey, national health accounts, and two decades of peer-reviewed Nigerian health systems research, the book sets out a delivery compact among the actors who must perform together: federal and state governments, local government health authorities, ward development committees, frontline health workers, and the communities they serve.

At its core is a seven-function operating model for delivery: Locate, Rank, Engage, Assign, Complete, Verify, and Improve. Around that model, the book builds the full architecture of accountable primary care: financing that reaches the frontline, a workforce deployed by role and competency, supply chains that end in verified availability rather than dispatched paperwork, health information that managers actually use, and governance that ties every level of the system to results a community can see.

Across 23 chapters in six parts, the book moves from Nigeria's health delivery contradiction through comparative lessons from other countries, and into detailed designs for service delivery, workforce, financing, information, and accountability. It closes with an implementation agenda that researchers, policymakers, funders, and health workers can test, adapt, and audit.

Written for scholars of health systems and implementation science, public health leaders, policy makers, development partners, and Nigerian health professionals at home and in the diaspora, this is a rigorous, evidence-dense blueprint for turning borrowed promise into verified community care.

Paul Arthur Osaroejii is a Nigerian-born health services researcher based in Fort Worth, Texas, a PhD Health Services candidate at Walden University, and the founder of Axiom Preventive Health Systems, LLC. He brings more than twelve years of experience in medical claims and health insurance operations to the study of how health systems actually deliver.

The Preventive Care Ecosystem

Why American Healthcare Fails at Prevention, and the Operating System That Fixes It

By Paul Arthur Osaroejii
Published by Axiom Preventive Health Systems, LLC · October 17, 2026

Paul Arthur Osaroejii, MHA, is a health services researcher and doctoral candidate, and the founder of Axiom Preventive Health Systems, LLC in Fort Worth, Texas.

About the Book

American healthcare knows how to prevent disease. It just cannot do it reliably.

Every year, millions of preventable illnesses are caught too late, screenings are missed, and care gaps stay open, not because the evidence is missing, but because the system has no operating infrastructure for acting on what it already knows. Prevention fails at execution, not knowledge.

In The Preventive Care Ecosystem, health services researcher Paul Arthur Osaroejii presents a complete operating system for preventive care: a seven-step sequence, Identify, Prioritize, Engage, Route, Close, Measure, Improve, grounded in the CFIR and RE-AIM implementation frameworks and built across every layer of the system, from the preventive visit to national governance.

Inside, you will find:

• Why dashboards and quality reports have not closed the prevention gap
• A practical architecture for turning guidelines into reliable, closed-loop workflows
• Equity treated as an operating principle, not an afterthought
• A measurement discipline that ties prevention activity to outcomes leaders can act on

Written for health services researchers, healthcare executives, policymakers, population health and quality leaders, and graduate students, this is a rigorous, fully referenced blueprint for making prevention work at scale.
